Costume care

Our fabrics can be divided into two categories:

Durable fabric: nylon / spandex, velor / velvet may shrink after application of heat.

Delicate materials: hologram, mesh, and nylon / spandex with foil (metallic) and without the film.

Please note that some fabrics with high gloss are more prone to wear and fading than other traditional, strong and durable fabric. The hologram and Nylon / Spandex of the film (metallic) may be slightly opaque in places with ornaments owing to the application of heat, may also shrink after application of heat.

Delicate materials require special care:

Repeated wear and washing can cause discoloration or loss of transparency.

Alcohol in all aerosol products, such as hairspray, affects the fabric. Cover before applying costume / clothing. Perfumes and body lotions can also adversely affect the delicate fabric. Deodorants and sweat can make these fabrics will discolor, fade or lose the film, especially when two different colors come together under the armpits. We recommend the use of pure crystalline deodorant, which does not contain aluminum hydrochloride.

Grid can potentially be damaged because of the method of use, which can increase the load on the fabric. You can order the costume / clothing from this material, but you do so at your own risk, because Astraja does not guarantee the viability of this fabric. If you decide to use the grid in the project, this means that Astraja will not be responsible for replacement or repair of costume / clothing. Staining colors or color stains can occur when a white or dark fabric is combined with a contrasting fabric, respectively light or dark color. This is a common problem, and the industry is evident in certain conditions, especially when light colored clothing is worn under a dark cloth and / or that the wet clothes remain in the bags gymnastics. Astraja company is not able to guarantee that our textiles will not discolor, even by observing proper washing instructions, due to the individual nature of the procedure, wearing / washing each athlete. You can order any combination of fabrics and colors. If you decide to combine light and dark colors, Astraja will not be responsible for the exchange of costume / clothing if Apply discoloration.

Fabric softeners negatively affect adhesives used in our costumes / clothes, causing abrasion of film on our fabrics and embellishments fall off.

Important instructions for washing all fabrics:

Costumes / clothing must be washed separately. Wriggle clothes on the left side. Use a mild liquid detergent, gently hand washed in a large volume of cold water. Immediately rinse.

DO NOT allow clothing to get wet. Dry in a clean towel and use of thick plastic hanger to dry.

DO NOT use fabric softeners. Fabric softeners negatively affect adhesives used in our costumes and clothing, causing discoloration of the film on our fabrics and ornaments falling off.

DO NOT dry clean. Dry cleaning use harsh chemicals that can damage the fabric and ornaments used in our costumes and clothing.

Do not iron. The heat from the iron can melt and / or discolour the delicate fabric of our costumes and clothing. Excessive heat can also weaken the adhesive used to attach the ornaments to costumes and cause peelin

Astraja, is not responsible for damage to clothing that is not washed and dried according to the recommendations. If you choose to connect sensitive fabrics and colors, it is at your own risk. Astraja may refuse refunds on special order in these combinations.
